Shipping Policy

1. Overview

CustomFitForMe is a marketplace that connects customers with independent fashion designers. Shipping is arranged between the designer and the customer as part of the order agreement. This policy explains how shipping works on our platform, who is responsible for what, and what to do if something goes wrong.

2. Delivery Methods

At the time of placing an order, customers and designers agree on one of the following delivery methods:

  • Standard Shipping — the designer arranges shipment via a courier of their choice and provides a tracking number.
  • Local Pickup — the customer collects the finished garment directly from the designer at an agreed location.
  • Customer-Arranged Delivery — the customer arranges their own courier to collect from the designer.

The agreed delivery method is recorded in the order contract and cannot be changed unilaterally after the contract is signed.

3. Shipping Timelines

Shipping timelines depend on the origin and destination countries, the carrier selected, and any customs processing required. Estimated delivery times provided during checkout are indicative only and are not guaranteed.

  • Domestic (within the same country): typically 1–5 business days.
  • International: typically 5–21 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance.

Production time (the time needed to make your garment) is separate from shipping time and is agreed between you and the designer at the bidding stage.

4. Tracking

Once the designer ships your order, they are required to provide a tracking number and carrier name through the platform. You will receive an email notification with your tracking details. You can also view tracking information at any time on your order page.

CustomFitForMe is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or events outside our control.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are agreed between the customer and designer before the order is placed and are included in the total bid price. CustomFitForMe does not add separate shipping charges. Any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees at the destination country are the customer's responsibility.

6. Designer Shipping Responsibilities

  • Package the garment securely to prevent damage in transit.
  • Ship within the timeframe agreed in the order contract.
  • Provide a valid tracking number through the platform promptly after dispatch.
  • Use a reliable carrier appropriate for the destination.

7. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will assist in mediating between you and the designer. Designers are strongly encouraged to ship with insurance for high-value orders.

CustomFitForMe is not liable for loss or damage caused by the carrier. However, we will support you through the dispute process to reach a fair outcome. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for more detail.

8. Incorrect Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address at the time of order. If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, any re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
